Defragmenting For More Speed

If you have applications on your hard drive that formerly ran fast but are getting slower and slower, you could try defragmenting your hard drive to get them running faster again. This process will arrange the files in contiguous sectors, rather than scattered all over the drive.

To defragment your hard drive, follow theses simple steps:
1. Click on the Start button and select 'Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Disk Defragmenter'.
2. Select the desired drive and then click on the 'defragment' button to start the process.

Keep in mind that this process could take from 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of your hard drive. After the defragmentation process, your windows will get a bit faster.
